Hey guys, we’ve got some really cool news to share. If you’re into Hidden Object games, this one is for you.

Our game, Hidden Cat Outlaws, just landed a spot in the very first issue of the Spanish magazine New N Accion. We want to give a huge thanks to Luana for taking the time to write such a fun review – we really appreciate it!

If you grew up gaming in Spain, you probably remember Nintendo Acción. The original magazine launched way back in December 1992 and quickly became an absolute staple for Spanish gamers. For over two decades, it was the ultimate go-to place for all the latest gaming news, reviews, and cheat codes. But as the internet took over and people stopped buying physical media, times got really tough. Sadly, after an amazing 26-year run and over 300 issues, the magazine had to shut its doors in December 2018 because of dropping sales and financial struggles. That’s exactly why its massive comeback as New N Accion is such a special moment—people missed it so much that the entire first print run sold out in just 4 days, and the editors are already scrambling to put together a second edition!

Anyway, for those who haven’t played it yet, Hidden Cat Outlaws is a chill Wild West adventure made by the Polish indie team Sleepwalking Potatoes. You play as a sheriff hunting down wanted cats in hand-drawn Wild West towns. But it’s not just a basic click-and-find setup. It actually features some deeper mechanics than your typical Hidden Object games. You have to find keys to unlock closed barns and houses, track down boss cats, dig up secret loot, and try not to get tricked by other funny animals trying to distract you.

So, what did Luana actually think of the game? She gave it a fair score of 56 out of 100, calling it “purrfect” for a quick, relaxing session in handheld mode right before bed. But the funniest part of her review has to be her take on the sound effects. She noted that the music really sets the Wild West mood, but

When you catch a cat, rather than a realistic “meow” it sounds like it’s a person—it’s hilarious.

Luana probably had no idea that all the sounds in Hidden Cat Outlaws were actually done by mouth by one of the two devs over at Sleepwalking Potatoes. So instead of hearing actual cat noises, she was really just listening to some Polish dude! That’s a fantastic quota anyway!

By the way, Hidden Cat Outlaws is out now, so you can grab it on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation. Have fun catching those wild kitties!
